This is the desirable TRANSITIONAL M3 camera with the best features. The first time Leica introduced the NEW speed ( after serial no. 85400 ) but still features the BETTER details on the camera...double stroke film advance lever with a quiet return, rabbit ear lugs, early style 1000 ASA dial, serial no. stamped on the inner chassis. etc...

The transitional cameras are really the best of the best. Short arm DOUBLE STROKE with the newer speeds and the better lugs, eye piece, back door, and construction overall. The M3 is a legend and to have the best version M3 makes this the BEST OF THE BEST!
