This is a VERY VERY rare NON 70 JAHRE Silver chrome M4-P camera.

Modeled after the original M4 and M4-2 but with the self timer removed and added the 28mm and 75mm frame lines. Now a 6 frame line camera for the first time!
Compatible with Leicas Motor-Winder-M allowing 3 frames per second film advance
Leicas first 6 frame viewfinder. This viewfinder is also used in the M6 and MP cameras.
A wonderful all mechanical camera to use!

The M4-P was put into production as a black anodized camera. Leica made the special edition M4-P camera in chrome 1913-1983 70 JAHRE anniversary and associated lenses.

The SILVER CHROME M4-P non anniversary cameras were never suppose to be in production but very few were made.

This is a NEW OLD STOCK VERY RARE camera from the factory, purchased new from the original owner and never opened or used. RARE WOW!

Also, a very late # example with the flat plate glass on the viewfinder window like the later produced M6 camera

These have recently gained great popularity for obvious reason. This is basically a non metered M6 camera. All mechanical, 6 frame lines, classic camera. Great value and the last CANADIAN M camera before the M6.

An exceedingly rare and lovely camera. They are nearly impossible to find and lovely to have a chrome M4-P camera in a standard variant. RARE!
