In general this is a very rare lens to find and an amazing accomplishment for Leica to make such a FAST, ASPHERICAL, sharp, SUPER WIDE 15mm lens.

The prices of the SUPER WIDE lenses like the 19mm have shot up for good reason. The CINE shooters love them. I sold a 19mm 1st version for over $4000. Makes sense that the second version 19mm would be about $6000+ which I recently sold on ebay for $8000. But this 15mm f2.8 is now WIDER and ASPH over the 19mm 2nd version.
A superb value for what it is and will for sure be rising in price as there are so few made and such a fine lens.

I recently sold one of these lenses that I had listed on ebay for $11995.
This is a great value and a must have R lens.

An incredible lens, top of the line and will never be beat! THE BEST OF THE BEST!
A pleasure to have and enjoy!

Also, very versatile as you can use it on your mirror less camera such as your Leica M10, M240, SL series or even your mirrorless Sony, Nikon, Fuji or Canon cameras, along with your DSLR. Has a larger image coverage circle because of the large glass so that is why many CINE and VIDEO shooters pick the R lenses over the M lenses. Really great in so many respects!
