LEICA LEITZ 100 YEARS VALBRAY OCULUS EL1 CHRONO WATCH #10/50 +BOX MINT! GREY
Here is a very RARE opportunity to own a fabulous piece of Leica history and one of the COOLEST watches on the market.
In 2014, Leica turned 100 and commissioned Valbray to make 100pc total, 50 in Grey and 50 in black.
I personally prefer this satin finish GREY watch. A very unique design with the OCULUS "aperture" bezel design where you can see only the time when the blades are closed, and you can open the OCULUS "aperture 16 blades" to show the 3 subdials, chrono and date window. Powered by a Vajoux automatic, 25 jeweled movement, 3 ATM water resistance and all shown with a beautiful display back!
Date window at 3 o'clock position, continuous seconds at the 9 o'clock position. A 30 minute continuous chronograph subdial at 12 o'clock feeding the 12 hour continuous chronograph at the 6 o'clock position.
Really a unique watch with the aperture, nice easy to wear.
Come COMPLETE with its presentation case, papers, box, soft black leather strap with the deployant clasp and the additional brown leather strap with the clasp. Easily changed with the hexagon tool also provided to make this TRULY complete and all in MINT condition.
A very nice limited edition #10/50 GREY satin finish version. Another 50 were made with the black finish. The Grey satin is a bit more sophisticated and understated. The watch is already an eye catcher but the subtly of the Satin Grey gives it that CLASSIC 'Leica" touch!
Really a beautiful watch in every respect. Originally very expensive and sold for approx $25,000-30,000 USD$ when released. A great deal and a great value. A must for any Leica collector or enthusiast.
