This is a very RARE PRE PRODUCTION lens. Production officially started at # 2485201 in 1971.

This must be a pre production prototype lens that was fully made and designed for Leica approval from the Schneider. 

A very nice example as it also has been kept with its original filter, caps, shade and B+W Series 8.5 drop in filter for the shade!
