This extremely rare and hard to find original Leica 50mm Summar F2 nickel rigid screw mount lens is in excellent condition cosmetically, mechanically and optically. Serial #167473. This is an extremely rare 1933 first year of production example. Early Nickel finish lens. Of the nearly 125,000 examples of this lens produced only about 2000 were made with the rigid non collapsible barrel design. Comes with matching original black front/rear lens caps. Black meter focusing scale example with the infinity focusing lock. Front element does have some minor cleaning marks which is typical for this early non coated lenses. Lens has been tested and it does not affect image quality. Recently cleaned and serviced and comes with a clean bill of health. Comes with 3-month in-store warranty. in excellent condition overall.
