Description

-Chromed brass body construction
-A hard to find lens and exceptionally fast telephoto lens at the time
-Leica M39 Screw LTM mount

This is a very early example and has a unique style APERTURE F stop indicator ring.
The indicatore is a ROUND black dot marking on the ring.
Usually an ARROW style on all other Summarex lenses I have sold for the last 20 years.
Production started in 1940 of the lens with only 6 example but the real production started in 1943 with 500 being made.
This is one of those 500. Serial #593001-593500

A fantastic, complete, clean early lenses with a very nice and rare aperture marker FEATURE!

-Aperture ring is a tiny bit stiff but still working well and clicks to the F stops

-No fog, fungus, separation or scratches
-Glass is clean and clear
Very hard to find a clean glass Summarex. 
There is the most insignificant haze but this one is really magnificent considering. 

A fantastic EARLY and COMPLETE Summarex 85mm.
