Leica Leitz M3 Brown Leather Vintage Prototype Camera Case
This is a very RARE prototype M camera case. This is the first time in 20 years that I am having a chance to finally own and sell this spectacular PROTOTYPE case. I have only ever seen one of these ONCE before. PROTOTYPE Leica M3 brown leather camera case is in excellent condition overall. Was originally supposed to be released with the M3 in 1954 but they changed the design to a reinforced hard leather case instead.
Very few examples were ever produced. Specially designed case with room to accommodate the M 35mm lenses with or without eyes attachment or the 50mm f2 Summicron Dual Range w/ close focus eyes attachment. 2 holes on the side for the lugs as well as a zipper running along the side and top of the case Very clean overall with modest signs of wear. The zipper is working nicely. In excellent condition. There is a base plate inside that has a felt liner to have your M body sit properly inside the case.
Really a wonderful soft leather case. I have been dreaming of owning one of these for the past 20 years. I saw one years ago sell for A LOT of money. Here is a rare opportunity to own a case that you might never see again.
This is a great deal considering that the MP cases in this condition will sell for DOUBLE x2 my asking price. This is much more rare and in my opinion, more desirable. Really fantastic.
