This extremely rare and hard to find Leica M2-M black paint rangefinder camera body is in near mint condition cosmetically, mechanically and optically. Serial #1163908. Comes with front body cap and rear plastic flash synch caps. Extremely rare and hard to find M2-M made for use with the 14000 E Leitz New York motor winder attachment. Only 276 examples were ever made. All were made in chrome. This example was professionally repainted with a black paint finish. Released in 1966 this is the 137th. Late serial number M2 body near the end of production. Actually features the M4 style base plate without the open/close script. Cosmetically near mint clean; no dings, dents or major marks. Top plate is very clean with very few very minor bright marks. Base plate is clean with minor bright marks. Leatherette is all intact and lugs are clean. 9+/10 overall. Mechanically working perfectly; shutter speeds are accurate and all other camera functions are working normally. Optically clean and clear; rangefinder/viewfinder is bright and clean. In phenomenal condition overall. Extremely rare and hard to find. A must have for any collector or enthusiast.
