LEICA M3 EARLY #700338 CAMERA SET +50MM SUMMICRON F2 +TAG +SPECIAL BASE WOW!
-Camera serial #700338
-Lens serial #1105199
100% original from the original owner who has it with his 135mm Hektor and 35mm f3.5. Kept all the papers, box, cards and all. WOW!
-This is an extremely early first batch example M3; production first started in 1954 with the serial number 700001. This is the 338th M3 ever made!
-Extremely rare and hard to find M3 that features all the characteristics of the first batch of M3s including the rabbit ear lugs, glass pressure plate, and early shutter speed dial and the very rare DOUBLE DOT film track ( only one first 800 M cameras ever made )
-No preview lever ( on early M3 cameras ), early style proper 1 button case. proper 4 screw chassis cover under the base plate.
Also, matching # chassis also stamped 700338 and matching serial no. TAG papers! WOW!
Also, something that I have NEVER seen before. I have sold many THOUSANDS of M bodies over the last 20 years, I have held the RAREST of the RARE, and I have NEVER seen MADE IN GERMANY on the base plate, as this one has. Original, factory marked for this particular camera. Incredible!

The matching # tag, papers, brochures, lens, hood, meter, case and all the characteristics. And the base plate marked MADE IN GERMANY from the factory. Nothing I have seen before. Incredible! Really an amazing camera in every respect. Wonderful!
