Only 300 examples were made in the last batch #987301-987600 before discontinuing the camera all together.
Made in Wetzlar, Germany in 1960

Made for use with a screw mount Visoflex I reflex system.
Very unusual camera, only 5,968 cameras ever made, dating from 1957-1963.
This is essentially a IIIG camera but without the viewfinder/rangefinder.
Used primarily with the Visoflex I SM attachment. Similar to the IF and the IC cameras..
The Ig is the first Leica with the companys name on the front

An exceptionally rare find to have x3 IG cameras CONSECUTIVE.
