LEICA LEITZ M3 SS 10150 IGEMO 1967 9th LAST CAMERA #1164857 +SUMMICON 50MM WOW!
Description
-Serial #1164857
THIS IS "THE" 9th last chrome M3 camera EVER MADE.
-Made in Wetzlar, Germany in the last batch of 20pc in 1967
-Desirable last version variation of the M3 before being totally discontinued
Last batch of 20pc made from # 1164846-1164865
This is the 9th last silver chrome M3 ever made.
Ironically I sold the very last M3 camera a many years ago # 1164865 to a very important client/collector
The first Leica M3 sold just a few months ago for nearly $4,000,000.00
A great value and historically important.
An incredible and RARE find.
The LAST BATCH 20pc are exceptionally hard to come by.
SPECTACULAR!
-Properly matched Summicron 50mm f2 ridged Serial #2234783
-Made in 1967 in Wetzlar, Germany. Very late last batch serial number
--Chrome finish
-Dual scale focus ring in Red and BlackMeters and feet
-Scalloped focusing ring
-Infinity focusing tab button
What an incredible find. I have seen only 3 other last batch of 20 cameras in nearly 30 years.
One in Hong Kong about 20 years ago which was not for sale
Another one in auction a few years ago which sold for nearly $40,000 also with a Summicron 50mm similar to this.
The last which I sold for nearly x10 what the one at auction sold for.
These are spectacular to impossible to find as there are only 20pc and truly is a historic camera.
