Leica 50mm Summar F2 nickel RIDGED lens
Serial #167205.
This is an extremely rare 1933 first year of production example. 
Serial # started at 167001. This is the 205th lens. VERY EARLY

Of the nearly 125,000 examples of this lens produced only about 2000 were made with the rigid non collapsible barrel design.

Black meter focusing scale example with the infinity focusing lock.
Desirable NICKEL finish with a very rare black paint correct Leica original front cap
Really a magnificent lens and beautiful on any camera!

The Ridged Summar lenses are wonderful and getting rarer and rarer to find.
A, great price, sure bet and a great investment as some recent sales have shot up well above $5000-$6000

RARE to find such a EARLY example.
